Cici's Cinnamon Rolls

Cici's Cinnamon Rolls

Cici’s Pizza Cinnamon Rolls topped with icing.

I just LOVE these cinnamon rolls.  Maybe not as much as my hometown diner’s gigantic cinnamon rolls, but there’s love there nonetheless.

Cici’s told me they stopped selling the 10-count boxes and only sell the 20-count now.  FINE BY ME!  You won’t get any complaints from this girl.  As you can see, I already started in on the box.

No need for a plate—just lift the lid and start devouring them with a fork (or your hands) while they’re still warm.  Once they start cooling, just pop them in the microwave to warm them again.  OHHHHHH, the yummmiiiinessss of it all!

So, if you have nothing else to do today, get yourself your own box of Cici’s cinnamon rolls.

Take-Away Life Lesson:  1 cinnamon roll only has:  126 calories, 4.3 grams of fat, 8 grams of sugar, and 20 grams of carbs.  So put a lot of thought into it before you decide if you really want to share any of these bad boys.

          1. I know!!! Once I have tastes the amazing American cinnamon rolls now I live missing them haha in fact I have looked up the recipe but it doesn’t look the easiest recipe and here I have very limited in baking /: I may try it when I go home though! (:

  1. The rolls in the box look very small, so maybe TWENTY of ’em isn’t as large a volume as it sounds. I’ve heard of a pizza place called Cici’s. Is this the same place? Never been near one, though. Is the pizza good? Is it a Northeast kind of place? Have never seen them in Arizona. Pizza and cinnamon rolls – a strange juxtapositioning, but two of my favorite things! I could do that!

    1. Yes, it should be Cici’s Pizza. It’s a cheap buffet-style pizza eating place. The pizza’s ok, but I’ve definitely had better. I just stop by to take cinnamon rolls to-go with me. I think they have these pizza joints all over different spots.

  2. The best cinnamon rolls are the ones you bake yourself, I’ve tried many different prepackaged, or pre-made, but they never to taste just quite right, to much sugar and icing and not of cinnamon a brown sugar.
I love making my own they are a pain to prepare and take forever, but really worth it when you put a piping hot Just-Came-Out-of-the-Oven fresh cinnamon roll in your mouth. YUM 🙂

  3. I make cinnamon rolls out of a simple bread recipe. Just add a little bit of sugar and butter and lots of cinnamon, nuts and raisins when I roll them out. Gives satisfaction but don’t feel like I am hurting my restrictive diet too much.
