Yeah, “Curved” Brush Mascara—Right

Mascara

The two mascaras in the photo are supposed to have different brushes—just in case you’re wondering what this is all about.

The mascara on the bottom is a straight-brush mascara I’ve been using the last several weeks.  The mascara on top is a mascara I bought because the package said it was a “curved” brush.

I’ve used curved brushes in the past so I’m an expert in what a curved brush should look like.  It’s shaped similar to a “U”, to an umbrella, to a rainbow—anything along those lines.

But I fail to see the “curved” brush here!  And let’s keep in mind, I’ve twirled the top mascara 360 degrees in rotation several times over because I was SO desperate to see the curve anywhere in the brush—ANYWHERE!  I even studied it carefully under a microscope!

Why do they think this is a “curve?”  What does “curve” even mean nowadays?

So, if you have nothing else to do today, please tell me if my eyes are, in fact, deceiving me and if there actually is a curve built into the brush somewhere.

Take-Away Life Lesson:  If I were a man, my blood pressure wouldn’t be boiling now over such a thing.

  1. Haha! I cannot spot a curve either. Curve is still the same curve it was years ago. I think there was a crooked curve in their marketing strategy?

    1. Hi, Biki! Yeah, there is no curve to that brush on top. And HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, too, miss lady! I hope you have the best year ever. My 2016 goals do include trying to stay around more frequently with my blogging. I’ll do my best. Let’s see!
