I just love this green tea. It tasted marvelous—especially after I sweetened it up a bit with a smidgen of agave nectar.
Look at how beautiful the tea leaves are.
Made with green tea leaves and agave nectar.
I just loved how simple it was to pull the filter out and set it off to the side. I was able to get at least three good cups of tea from this one tablespoon of leaves. Oh, my health is improving already.
Brewing My Cup Of Tea
Always use filtered or purified water
Bring water to a boil; then reduce boiling water temperature
Let water sit for 30 seconds to 2 minutes off the heat
Add 1 tbsp tea leaves to cup filter
Slowly pour 8-10 oz of water over the tea leaves inside the filter
Steep anywhere from 1-5 minutes depending on preferred strength
Remove filter
Add agave nectar to tea, stir, and enjoy
So, if you have nothing else to do today, have yourself a cup or three of tea. It relaxes the soul.
Take-Away Life Lesson: Make sure to drink the maximum number of cups with each tablespoon of tea leaves before tossing the leaves out. Always get your money’s worth.

Giving Agave Nectar Some Love
I’m not the biggest fan of tea, but when sick, my mother’s and wife insist. In coming around to looking them more than when I was a child.
Oh, yes. Tea is great when you’re sick. The hotter, the better too.
There’s so much miserable tea in the world and you can’t get a decent cup at a cafe but it really is one of the great pleasures of the earth. I’d kill for a good Assam Black right about now.
If it’s not good, I can’t drink it. That’s for sure.
I love tea parties! I’m having a Valentine’s Tea Party, wish you could come!!

Aw, that’s going to be so fun for you! Have a blast and I’ll have a cup here and it’ll be like I’m there. 🙂
What type of green tea is that?
Does it come from a certain, special plantation?
(I love tea leaves that come with stories!) 😀
It comes from the Fujian Province region of China. Somewhere around there. Just turn left at the corner and go down about a mile. 🙂
Ha ha ha
Fujian is very well-known for its tea. The Jasmine tea I drink is also from that province.
By the way, we speak Fujian dialect in our “ghetto”. Fujian is pronounced as Hok-kian in its own dialect.
😀
Interesting to know. 😉
Green tea is very healthy
It really is.
I love green tea 🙂

love green tea! Simple is best–you’ve done beautifully 🙂
Thanks, Liz! 🙂
My fave tea is Stash’s Lemon Ginger. With coconut sugar, it tastes a bit like Ginger Ale.
Now that sounds tempting. I’ve never heard of that kind of tea or even coconut sugar before. I’ll have to look for it.
I drank some chamomille. Ahhhhhh
Ooooo. That’s some good stuff!
I love my filter cup. I am in a tea of the month club and get a new surprise tea each month.
Oh, how fun for you! That’s neat.
