A Smile At Houston's

French Fries at Houston's

Hand-Cut French Fries with honey Dijon and ketchup.

Here was the highlight of my day today—FOOD at Houston’s!  I started off with a fabulous appetizer of none other than fries.  These put a smile on my face all on their own.

Club Salad at Houston's

Club Salad made with crispy chicken, smokehouse bacon,  avocado, egg, and tomato with buttermilk garlic dressing.

Five minutes later, there’s my club salad looking lovely as always.  Naturally, I always have to ask for an extra side of dressing.  The amount of dressing they put on the salad just doesn’t cut it for me.  I need it loaded with a blanket of that creamy goodness.

So, if you have nothing else to do today, eat fabulously at a place whose food always puts a smile on your face.

  1. You know by now that I totally agree with your Life Lesson. Yes yes yes to getting a charge out of the little things. Thought those fries and that club salad don’t look like “simple pleasures” to me–those are big deals 😀 Have said this before, I’d bet, but love your philosophy.

  2. French Fries with Honey Dijon & Ketchup? Where’s the chili sauce? 😀
I am one of the typical Indonesians who simply cannot eat fries without a spicy sauce.

Once, they ran out of chili sauce in KFC, and I ran out out of the restaurant right away! L-O-L!

  3. Greetings from Japan… thank you for dropping by my blog… I must congratulate you for putting up an interesting blog with a focus… the salad looks delicious, I must say… 🙂

  4. Now THAT salad looks scrumptious! Maybe the French fries should be dipped in the salad dressing too! I looked up Houston’s in Wikipedia – interesting company.

    1. I’m sure the fries would be just as good with the buttermilk dressing. They usually only serve them with ketchup, but I was ask for honey Dijon with mine too.

  5. Your food looks tasty!! Just wanted to thank you for following my blog, which ultimately led me to your site. Love the background as well 🙂 Hope you have a lovely weekend
