Houston's Veggie Burger

Veggie Burger

Veggie Burger made with black beans, oat bran, beets, jalapeños, onions, sweet soy glaze, jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayonnaise, and mustard; served with French fries.

I’m not usually a veggie burger person because they all do nothing for me in the taste department.  But THIS HERE burger was SO good!

I decided to try it out since every other food item on the Houston’s menu is fantabulous—so why shouldn’t their veggie burger be?

I was reluctant to try this, to say the least.  But those Houston’s folks know what they’re doing with their food.  I had a good ol’ time with this burger.

So, if you have nothing else to do today, try a veggie burger specifically from Houston’s.  You might be pleasantly surprised.

Take-Away Life Lesson:  Not all veggie burgers are blech.

  1. Good veggie burgers are hard to come by. I’m glad you found one that was so good and full of awesome ingredients. I wish I could try it too!

  2. I love pickled beets. I’m sure that they helped give it a little zing. I don’t have to taste the veggie burger to know it would be good.
Now, where do I find Houstons?

  3. Hmm, I normally steer clear of a non-meat burger, but this one looks surprisingly delicious. Either that, or you’re one heck of a photographer! 😉

    1. I know! I NEVER eat veggie burgers because I don’t like them. Never had a good one anyway and I prefer real meat. But this was actually surprisingly good. I’ll definitely get another one of these at some point—but only from Houston’s.
