A New Sports Bar In Town

Chicken Tenders & Macaroni & Cheese

Chicken Tenders with honey mustard & barbecue sauces and a side of Macaroni & Cheese.

I love meeting girlfriends out for lunch any chance I get.  You can always get in good food and good gossip all rolled into one.

We decided to try a newly opened sports bar in midtown—and, boy, was it loaded with some good food.  I really couldn’t make up my mind what to try on the menu. (Story of my life.)  But after hours of analyzing it, I ended up going for the basic chicken tenders and—OH—they were amazingly good and crunchy.

It doesn’t take much for me to fall in love with a food item.

I always seem to order macaroni & cheese everywhere I go, too.  I just like trying out different mac & cheeses because some definitely taste better than others—and, who are we kidding, it’s one of my favorite foods ever to eat in life.

So, if you have nothing else to do today, meet your friends out for lunch at a newly opened food spot.

Take-Away Life Lesson:  Anytime macaroni and cheese is on the menu any place you go, definitely get a side order to go along with your meal.  You can’t go wrong.

  1. Mac and cheese is my favorite too. I go weak in the knees with this dish. But DREAD the calories. I was going to ask you what Mustang.koji already did. HOW do you manage to keep fit 😀

    1. I really have NO idea. It must be a genetic thing because I’ve always been this way despite my attempts to get fat over the years.

  2. My brother was given the advice (by our grandmother) to just “always order the chicken”, which is one way in cutting down the panic of staring at a menu with no idea what to get. But macaroni and cheese seems more reliable in some ways, especially since they probably won’t have fourteen different kinds of it.

    1. I can’t help but order mac & cheese everywhere I go. This could also be why I always seems to order chicken tenders, too, when I go somewhere and can’t decide. Good advice, Gram! 🙂

  3. I may be a bit of a pizza whore, but I have to agree with you on the mac and cheese statement…..it’s like comfort food that you have to have whenever given the opportunity! 🙂

  4. lol, Push That Button started going through my head when I saw your post announced in my email box. Galvanize 😉

Your lunch looks tasty and agreeing that a meal with friends is all the better for the company. Glad you got out!

    1. Lol. It won’t stop playing, Liz. I’m going back and forth between Galvanize and Baby I’m Yours as we speak. Lol. You’re the best!!! 🙂 And, yeah, I always love getting out of the house.
